Accessibility
At Felpham Methodist Church we would like our church services and activities to be accessible to as many people as possible.
If you have a physical or learning disability or mental health issues you are very welcome to join us, and we will endeavour to provide a warm welcome and make you feel comfortable.
We currently have the following measures in place and are happy to discuss other ways in which we can help.
· Level access to our church worship area and 2 halls. There are no steps in the church and there are double doors. We have no fixed seating and so in any room we can move chairs around to provide space to suit you and your companions.
· 2 disabled parking spaces
· Accessible toilets (ladies and gents) with emergency alarms.
· A hearing aid loop in the church worship area.
· If you are attending a service there is no need to stand if you are not able to, there is no need to kneel for Holy Communion, it can be brought to your seat if you prefer, the Communion wine is always non-alcoholic, and gluten-free wafers can be provided on request. We have access to some large print hymn books and Bibles if they are needed.
· We would be happy for you to bring an assistance dog.
· Church notices can be sent to you by email if requested, or could be provided in large print, or on coloured paper if it makes it easier for you.
· For people who are unable to join us for services we can provide recorded sermons and Holy Communion at home.
